J. David Magagna

David Magagna brings 39 years experience in the musical instrument industry, having held positions as Vice-President and Export Manager of C.F. Martin Sales Co., President and CEO of Guild Guitars and the U.S. distributor of Lowder guitars before joining Taylor as Export Sales Manager. In addition, he founded and still operates his own export marketing and management company, Cobble Hill International, which specializes in developing export programs for companies in a number of industries, including music products. David studied at Yale University School of Oriental Languages, Sophia University ( Japan ) and Georgetown School of Foreign Service. He ran Governor Dukakis’ Export ’90 program in Massachusetts and has served as director on the U.S. Department of Commerce District Export Councils in San Diego and New Hampshire .


Ronald C. Plante

Ronald C. Plante is a National Account Executive with the Northeast Region Business Development Team of United Parcel Service (UPS). Ron is a member of management for the past 19 years as a manager, supervisor and account executive and has 25 years of services with UPS. Over the years he has held numerous key assignments in sales and operations. With several position held in UPS International, Ron worked in Paris , France during UPS’s international expansion in the 90’s. As a member of a special assignment team, he helped with the integration of a French delivery company. Today, Ron is responsible for providing UPS domestic and international transport solutions to global and national accounts throughout the Seacoast of New Hampshire. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Administration from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics, University of New Hampshire .


Sarah Potter

Sarah Potter is the Associate Executive Director of the Alumni Association at the University of New Hampshire . The former Executive Director of NHITA, Sarah holds a BA with a double major in International Affairs and French from the University of Maine , Orono. She currently serves on various State of New Hampshire committees related to international trade, including the NH International Trade Advisory Committee, the Export Marketing Grant Committee, and numerous professional business organizations


David Stewart

Founder and President of Polly Roll, Inc. of Loudon. Polly Roll is involved in the manufacture of custom molded cast polyurethane, polyurethane foam, and silicone for industry. David also serves as the President of Plan Tech, Inc. and is Chair on the Oversight Committee for the NH Industrial Research Center. David received his bachelors degree from the University of Vermont and his Masters degree from Indian University Bloomington in 1985.

Mark L. Thum

Vice President, International Business Development, BAE Systems- Information and Electronic Warfare Systems (IEWS) Nashua , New Hampshire.

Janice A. Leahy

Ms. Leahy brings over 24 years of financial expertise to the firm. Her extensive experience ranges from public accounting, publicly owned billion dollar multi-national companies to small privately held companies. She excels in the areas of tax, treasury, finance and international trade. Prior to co-founding Dahn & Leahy, she was the Director of Regulatory Compliance & International Trade for a multi-national technology company. In addition, she successfully held the position as the Director of Tax & Treasury and Treasurer for a multi-national corporations for several years. She architeched, developed and strategically implemented tax, treasury and trade departments from the ground level up. She championed practical and strategic initiatives which benefited the bottom line, thereby improving company performance. Ms. Leahy has been a featured lecturer at several universities, including Harvard Business School. She holds advanced degrees in finance, accounting and business administration. She is a director on the Board of the New Hampshire International Trade Association (NHITA). Most currently, she is founder of the Treasury Executives Institute, a non-profit organization.
