Dr. C. Bulent Aybar

As Associate Professor of International Finance at Southern New Hampshire’s School of Business , Dr. Aybar specializes in international finance and international business. His current research interests include emerging capital markets, currency crises, mergers and acquisitions, risk management in emerging markets and privatization. He teaches Multinational Corporate Finance, International Trade and Understanding Emerging Markets in the MBA program. His doctoral level teaching focuses on seminars in International Finance and Privatization. Dr. Aybar has published numerous articles in various academic journals and also serves as the Director of the Summer Institute of International Business at Southern New Hampshire University.


Gerry Crawford

Gerry Crawford is the President and Founder of Portsmouth-based J&G Technologies. After 24 years in the IT industry with Hewlett Packard, Wang Laboratories and Getronics USA , Gerry started J&G Technologies LLC, an international consulting firm dedicated to facilitating relationships between companies in Asia and the US . J&G has representatives in Korea , Taiwan , Singapore and Thailand and is in the process of establishing a relationship with an established trading company in China . In 2003, Gerry joined with several software and consulting companies in New Hampshire and Thailand to form eWare Group LLC, an alliance of Business and IT Consultants and independent Software Development companies. eWare Group provides a bi-directional conduit for IT companies in Asia and the USA to take their products and services to an international market. In October, Gerry was presented the NHITA Excellence in Trade Award 2003 during the Governor's Award Luncheon at NHITA's 17th Annual World Trade Forum. Gerry also serves as the State of New Hampshire Commercial Consul to the ASEAN Nations, Korea and Taiwan .


John Hopper

John Hopper brings 22 years of experience in Commercial Banking to the board and is currently a Senior Vice President and Team Leader in Commercial Banking at Fleet National Bank in Manchester , NH . John was previously Vice President of Commercial Lending at Bank of Boston, and Vice President and Commercial Team Manager at Numerica Savings Bank. John earned a Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History from Wake Forest University , a Masters in African History from Ohio University , and a Ph.D. in Southern African History from Yale University . In addition, John serves as a Board Member of the New Hampshire High Technology Council and as an Advisory Board Member of the International Trade Resource Center .


David A. Juvet

David A. Juvet is a Vice President at the Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire. A graduate of Arizona State University ( Tempe , Arizona ) with a Bachelor’s degree in History/Political Science, Dave has 16 years experience in Government Relations work with the American Automobile Association working in Arizona , Massachusetts and New Hampshire . Before moving to New England , Dave worked in Arizona Governor Ev Meecham’s Highway Safety agency as a public relations specialist. Most recently, Dave was employed by the Currier Gallery of Art in Manchester , NH as Director of Marketing and Public Relations. He has been with the Business and Industry Association of New Hampshire since April 2000 and is responsible for guiding the association’s fiscal policy and economic development efforts. Dave also serves on the Board of Directors for the New Hampshire Travel Council, and is President of the Board for New Hampshire Teen Institute.
