Richard Lowney- President
Richard Lowney is President and CEO of Clearview Software International, Inc. in Amherst , NH . Richard holds a MS in Management from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a BS in Information Systems from New Hampshire College . He has served on numerous boards and including technology firms Access Point, Computer Management Dynamics, and Clearview Software International. Richard is also active and experienced in international trade missions having participated in: Futurallia in Canada , SBA Trade Mission to Ireland , NH Trade Mission to Ireland & Northern Ireland, NH Trade Mission Germany & Denmark , as well as numerous Trade Missions to the U.S.
Lou Altman- Immediate Past President
Lou Altman is the President and Founder of Portsmouth based GlobaFone, an award-winning successful small business. Mr. Altman earned his bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Sociology from New England College in Henniker , NH in 1988. He has a Masters of Business Administration with a certificate in Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University in 1991. After 10 years in the financial services industry, Mr. Altman began consulting in the areas of communications and sales in 1997. Mr. Altman has solid experience with international business, having living in the UK and Toronto , where he established the Scudder Funds of Canada office. GlobaFone, founded in 1998, provides world-class global wireless solutions to corporate and government clients. GlobaFone has partners in London , Dublin , Tokyo , Seoul and Mexico City as well as a joint-venture office in Singapore and in June 2002 received the GSA’s Industry/Partner Excellence Award.
Jeff Wheeler- Treasurer
Jeff Wheeler, Senior Audit Manager at Baker Newman & Noyes, LLC, Manchester , serves as NHITA's Treasurer and Board Member. Jeff is a seasoned professional with 20 years of public accounting experience with extensive experience in Manufacturing, High Technology, Government Contracting, Service and Non-For-Profit industries, including coordination of overseas work performed by network accounting firms for clients with foreign subsidiaries and joint ventures. Previous to his work with Baker, Newman & Noyes, Jeff served as Manager for Arthur Andersen's Manchester office. Jeff holds an Accounting Degree with Highest Honors from Bentley College . He is Certified as a Public Accountant in both New Hampshire and Massachusetts and is currently affiliated with the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the NH Society of Certified Public Accounts (serving as a board member from 1994-1997), a member of the Board of Trustees of the First Congregational Church of Concord, and participates on the BIA Fiscal Policy and Economic Development Committee.
Alan L. Reische- Secretary
Alan L. Reische is a member and director of the law firm, Sheehan, Phinney, Bass + Green, and his practice is primarily in the areas of corporate law, secured lending, finance, securities and acquisitions. He is a member of the New Hampshire and American Bar Associations, as well as a member of the American Bar Association’s Sections on Taxation and Corporations; a member of Continuing Legal Education Committee of the New Hampshire Bar Association, a chairperson and/or member of numerous continuing legal education panels on corporate law, securities and secured lending topics. Alan is also a Bar Examiner for the State of New Hampshire , a member of the Business and Industry Association’s special subcommittee on corporations and securities law revision, and is the New Hampshire liaison to the Section of Business Law of the American Bar Association, Committee on Corporate Laws. Mr. Reische received his A.B. from Harvard University in 1962, his LL.B. from the University of Pennsylvania in 1965 and his LL.M. in taxation from Boston University in 1970. Mr. Reische serves as NHITA’s Secretary.
